Slime-Moku
Inventor: Bill Taylor (?),
early 2000s
Ranks: N by M
Sowing: Fractured
Region: New Zealand (?)

Slime-Moku is a variant of Slimetrail. It might be also designed by Bill Taylor (New Zealand), probably in the early 2000s.

Rules

The game has almost the same rules as Slimetrail.

However, it has a peculiar "slime trail" and a different winning condition, which changes the whole game.

Differences:

  • Each player produces slime of his color.
  • If the slime-producing piece gets stuck, the next player may move it to any other empty square.
  • The winner is the first player to get an unbroken row of five stones of his color horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
  • If neither player can achieve his goal, the game is a tie.
