Olowuka (also spelled: Ọlọwuka) is an Oware variant played in Osogbo, Central Nigeria. The game was first described by Jordi Climent Tondo in 2009.
Rules
The rules are similar to Oware.
Differences:
- If the last seed is dropped into a hole, which then contains four or more seeds, they are distributed in another lap.
- Grand Slam captures are permitted. However, the contents of the first hole (the left-most hole from the opponent's point of view) are left untouched.
