Bao Kigogo is played by the Gogo in the Dodoma Region of central Tanzania. The game was first described by the German Lutheran missionary Martin Klamroth in 1911 who oberved it near the village of Mpapua.
The game appears to be closely related to Bao Kiarabu.
Rules
The game is played like Hawalis except for the larger board and the starting position, which is shown below.
