Achochodi is an Oware variant played in the Ivory Coast. The game only differs in one rule, which, however, results in a totally different game. The game was first described by Jordi Climent Tondo in 2009.
Rules
The rules are similar to Oware.
The only difference is that there is a second way to capture the opponent's seeds:
If a singleton is moved, the contents of the hole, which is opposite to the original hole (the emptied one), are captured. This rule prevents the repetition of board positions.
